If you ask “Why is the sky blue?”, the answer is “Physics.” If you ask “Why does physics work?”, the answer is “The laws of the universe.” If you keep asking “Why?” at every step, you eventually run into a problem: Does the chain ever stop?

If it never stops (Infinite Regress), then nothing is ever actually explained—it’s just “Turtles all the way down.” But if it does stop, the last thing in the chain must be something that explains itself.
