GENESIS TO QUANTUM — STORY ENGINE TEMPLATE (v1)

Purpose:

  • Make each article repeatable without flattening the voice.
  • Keep one central question and answer it through multiple lanes.

Core Rule

Start with one simple question. Then answer it in three lanes:

  1. Text lane (Scripture/narrative observation)
  2. Physics lane (formal mechanism/equation)
  3. Evidence lane (experiment/history/data)

If one lane is weak, say it directly in the Audit.

Standard Article Skeleton

  1. Hook Scene (human stakes)

    • 3-6 paragraphs.
    • Put the reader inside a moment, not a concept.
  2. The Question

    • One line.
    • Example: “Why did one measurement collapse reality and the first one did not?”
  3. Claim (provisional)

    • One paragraph.
    • State what this article argues, without pretending it’s final proof.
  4. Lane A: Text Observation

    • Quote exact textual sequence.
    • Show what is observed before interpretation.
  5. Lane B: Physics Mechanism

    • Define the formal model.
    • One key equation + plain-language interpretation.
  6. Lane C: Evidence Anchor

    • One strongest empirical anchor.
    • If historical, use sequence and primary-source posture.
  7. Competing Explanations

    • 2-4 strongest alternatives.
    • Explain why each is insufficient.
  8. Convergence

    • Show why all three lanes point to the same structural answer.
  9. Bridge to Next Article

    • End with the next unresolved question.
    • Make the reader need the next step.
  10. Falsification Criteria

  • 3-5 concrete kill conditions.
  1. The Audit
  • What’s load-bearing.
  • What’s suggestive but incomplete.
  • Where we overreached.
  • The Thread
  • §1 Observation
  • §2 Mechanism
  • §3 Distinctions/Typology
  • §4 System-Level Consequences
  • §5 Historical/Test Case
  • §6 The Inverse or Resolution Path
  • The Convergence
  • Falsification Criteria
  • The Audit

Length and Pacing Targets

  • Total: 3,500-5,500 words
  • Hook + Question + Claim: 10-15%
  • Main argument lanes: 60-70%
  • Convergence + bridge: 10-15%
  • Falsification + Audit: 10-15%

Quality Gate Before Publish

  • Can the central question be stated in one sentence?
  • Does each lane independently support the claim?
  • Is at least one unresolved mechanism clearly named?
  • Does the bridge line naturally force the next article?
  • Does the Audit read like honesty, not branding?

One-Line Formula

Question Mechanism Evidence Objection Convergence Next Question.
