Clarifications for the Academic Reader

Ring 2 — Canonical Grounding
Ring 3 — Framework Connections
Q1: Is this framework trying to replace the Scientific Method?
No. It proposes an add-on, not a replacement. Standard Method = “Does it predict?” Coherence Framework = “Does it unify?” We argue that prediction without unification leads to fragmentation. We restore the second half of the scientific mandate.
Q2: Isn’t “Coherence” subjective?
No. We define Coherence structurally: The degree to which a system minimizes internal contradiction and explanatory gaps.
- A theory with 12 interpretations (QM) is objectively less coherent than a theory with 1 (Thermodynamics).
- A society with high litigation rates (Low Trust) is objectively less coherent than one with low litigation.
Q3: Why do you use theological terms like “Grace”?
Historical Precedence. We use these terms because they are the oldest available labels for these structural invariants.
- “Grace” = Error Absorption Capacity.
- “Sin” = Systemic Noise.
- “Logos” = Informational Ground. We are happy to use the systems-theory labels if it aids clarity, but the structural function remains identical.
Q4: How is this falsifiable?
By Counter-Example. The framework claims that any system violating the Coherence Invariants (e.g., rejecting Truth/Signal Fidelity) will destabilize.
- To Falsify: Show us a system that embraces High Noise (Lies/Corruption) and yet maintains Long-Term Stability and Low Transaction Costs.
- If such a system exists, our framework is wrong.
Q5: Why does this matter?
Because we are stalling. Physics has not produced a unified theory in 50 years. Mental health is collapsing. Social trust is evaporating. These are not separate problems. They are the same problem: The loss of Coherence. This framework offers a diagnostic tool to fix it.
