Goodness
If relation is real, then the question of how we ought to relate becomes unavoidable. Goodness is the measure of alignment between what is and what should be.
Goodness is not preference. It is the direction of life toward what preserves, heals, and fulfills. It is the opposite of decay and harm.
We know goodness by its fruit: trust grows, life strengthens, truth clarifies. Where goodness is absent, disorder spreads.
Goodness is the compass of meaning.
