Against Modalism
CHARGE: Modalism claims “Father, Son, and Spirit are just three modes or roles of one Person—like an actor wearing different masks.”

Against Sabellianism

- Now: Father rules, Son intercedes, Spirit indwells
∴ The "epochs" have all three Persons active
∴ Sabellianism fails

GUILTY
Modalism and Sabellianism are found GUILTY of collapsing genuine distinction into mere appearance.

The Trinity has algebraic structure. The Persons are operators: F̂ generates, L̂ structures, Ŝ actualizes. The algebra is non-commutative because the Persons are genuinely distinct. Yet the essence is one because they share the same χ.

Because the Persons are genuinely distinct:
- You can know the Father as source of your being
- You can know the Son as the one who reveals the Father
- You can know the Spirit as the one who indwells you

The Spirit personally testifies. This is not an impersonal force—it’s a Person.
L4.4 — God’s Work Is Complete
Because divine action is F̂ · L̂ · Ŝ:
- What the Father wills is accomplished
- What the Son structures is actual
- What the Spirit applies is complete

The trinitarian structure guarantees completion. God’s work doesn’t stall.
This is the fifteenth good news: God is not a vague force but three Persons who work in perfect harmony. You can relate to each Person distinctly, and their cooperative work for your salvation is complete.
