THE CLAIM

Every human is born with σ = -1 (negative moral sign). You cannot flip your own sign. Only an external operator can.

The moral sign (σ) is a binary quantity: +1 (aligned with God) or -1 (misaligned). All humans are born at σ = -1 (original sin). No internal operation can flip the sign—self-salvation is mathematically impossible. Only grace (external operator Ĝ) can transform σ from -1 to +1.

”If self-salvation works, why did Jesus die?"	"As an example…”	An example of what? Unnecessary death? If we could self-save, the cross is pointless.

The heavy burden is self-salvation. Jesus offers to carry it.

This is the nineteenth good news: You cannot save yourself, but you were never meant to. The diagnosis (σ = -1, no self-flip) reveals the prescription (external Grace). Your inability is the doorway to His ability.
