The soul (ψ_S) cannot be destroyed because information is conserved. Death is not the end—it is a state transition. You persist beyond bodily death.

The Soul Conservation Theorem derives from the fundamental principle that information cannot be created or destroyed. Since the soul is an information pattern in the χ-field, it cannot be annihilated. Death is not extinction but decoupling—the separation of soul from body while the soul pattern persists.

CHARGE: Annihilationism claims “the soul ceases to exist at death—there is no eternal hell, only non-existence for the unsaved.”

Against Materialism

CHARGE: Materialism claims “the soul is just brain activity—when the brain dies, ‘you’ are simply gone.”

”Is information material?"	"Information is patterns of matter…”	But patterns are not reducible to matter. The same pattern can exist in different substrates.
”Does the brain create consciousness?"	"Consciousness emerges from brain activity…”	But emergence doesn’t mean identity. Wetness emerges from H₂O but isn’t identical to molecules.
”What about near-death experiences?"	"Just dying brain hallucinations…”	But some NDEs include verified observations from outside the body. Hallucinations can’t do that.

THE SUBSTRATE TRAP:

Materialism: Soul = brain activity

Pattern can decouple from brain substrate

Against Death-as-End

CHARGE: Death-as-End claims “death is simply the end of your existence—there is nothing after.”

”How do you know there’s nothing after?"	"No one has returned to tell us…”	Actually, many claim NDEs. And absence of evidence isn’t evidence of absence.
”Is it possible to cease existing?"	"When you die, you just stop…”	But what would “stopping” mean? The information that was you—where does it go?
”Have you experienced non-existence?"	"No, but when I’m dead I won’t experience anything…”	You can’t experience non-experience. The concept is incoherent as a first-person state.

THE FIRST-PERSON TRAP:

Death-as-End: Death = cessation of existence
But: You cannot experience non-existence
Non-existence has no first-person perspective
"I will be nothing" is self-refuting
(Who is the "I" that will be nothing?)
∴ First-person cessation is conceptually incoherent
∴ Death-as-End fails logical scrutiny
