Translation Protocol (External → Canonical)
Goal: translate external frameworks into typed Theophysics claims without importing their whole metaphysics.
Rules
- Definitions first: only promote terms (DEFINITION) before promoting claims.
- No stealth identifications: any X = Y must be an explicit Identification-style claim with risks.
- Disagreement handling: if sources disagree, add a “Conflict” bullet and move on.
Canonical landing zones (when promoted)
- Terms/objects:
02_Definitions/ - Operators:
02_Definitions/(OP-###) - Derived constraints:
03_Lemmas/ - Testable claims:
04_Causal_Chains/+ hypotheses/operationalizations - Evidence:
07_Evidence_Extracts/ - Critiques:
00_System/Objections/(or wherever you keep objection notes)
“Rosetta Stone” checklist per candidate mapping
- Term A (external): definition + source
- Term B (Theophysics): existing definition (or create)
- Proposed relationship: analogy | correlation | identification
- Invariants: properties that must match
- Failure modes: what would show it’s wrong
- Downstream impact: what breaks if rejected
