AX-033: Eternal (Temporal Independence)

Statement (one sentence)

God is not time-evolving as a subsystem; time is a created constraint that applies within the domain, not to the divine ground.

Intended meaning (2-5 sentences)

This axiom asserts that divine identity is not “updated” by temporal succession the way created systems are. It supports providence governance without treating God as a material process with drift, noise, or learning. The axiom is a formal boundary claim (about what kind of thing God is), not a derivation from physics.

What this is NOT claiming

  • Not a commitment to a specific interpretation of time (block universe vs presentism).
  • Not that nothing changes; creatures and the chi state can change.

Downstream commitments

  • Providence/intervention claims must be typed without modeling God as an internal time-indexed dynamical variable.

Formal sketch (optional)

  • Time-independence placeholder: ∂G/∂t = 0
