A positive sign (σ = +1) indicates alignment and coherence, while a negative sign (σ = -1) denotes misalignment and decoherence. Moral value is conserved (T8.1) and represented by this sign, which can only be flipped by an external, non-unitary Grace Operator (Ĝ) as internal operations commute with σ̂ (L8.1).
