Definition
Nihilism is the philosophical position that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value — that there is no cosmic significance to human life, no moral facts, no teleology, and ultimately nothing matters. The universe is indifferent, and any “meaning” is a human projection onto a meaningless void.
