The process by which one state or event directly influences the subsequent state or event. Within the Logos framework, causation is not merely a transfer of energy or momentum, but an informational and ontological process. It is the actualization of potentiality from the Logos Field (χ) into a definite, observed reality, mediated by operators and observers (A5.1). Causation, therefore, is inherently linked to the flow of information and the generation or reduction of coherence.
