AX-123: Sin as Decoherence
Statement (one sentence)
Sin is mapped to (or modeled as) decoherence: dynamics that reduce coherence/integration of information-bearing distinctions under interaction/noise.
Intended meaning (2-5 sentences)
This is a cross-domain mapping axiom: it proposes a formal correspondence between relational/moral “divergence from χ” language and a stability/integration measure (see D-003 Coherence). The mapping only earns its keep if it generates distinctive downstream test hooks and controls against purely material baseline explanations (T8).
What this is NOT claiming
- Not that physics “is morality” by default; the mapping must be explicit and audited.
- Not that every instance of physical decoherence is moral failure.
Downstream commitments
- Specify the decoherence operator/channel and predicted signatures that differ from psychological/social confounds.
