Handoff: Worldview → Thesis → Evidence → Source Linking

This vault is set up so every worldview commitment can be traced to (a) an evidence extract note with a bounded quote and (b) the original source URL (SEP/IEP/Britannica), and so the Excel spine can click through to those sources.

  1. Raw sources (downloads)

    • Folder: 00_Canonical/World Views/
    • These are the locally saved pages (e.g., SEP entries) used as the canonical text base.
  2. Evidence extracts (auditable quotes)

    • Folder: 07_Evidence_Extracts/
    • Files: E-### *.md with frontmatter fields:
      • source_local: local file path under 00_Canonical/World Views/
      • source_url: the web URL to the original page (often SEP section anchors)
      • where: human-readable location on page
      • match_line: where the extract came from in the local download
    • Goal: bounded excerpts (short quotes) so claims can be audited without re-reading whole pages.
  3. Worldview map notes (3 commitments per worldview)

    • Folder: 10_Maps/Worldviews/
    • Files: WV_*.md
    • Each worldview lists commitments as bullets that end with an evidence link like [[E-0##]].
    • Index: 10_Maps/MAP_Worldviews.md
  4. Excel spine (click-through control center)

    • Workbook: O:/_THEO/AxiomMatches/SEQUENTIAL/Theophysics_Axiom_Spine_Master.xlsx
    • Key sheets:
      • WORLDVIEW_THESES: thesis rows with SourceURL as a clickable hyperlink.
      • WORLDVIEW_SOURCES: per-worldview hub with clickable local paths + web source URL + associated evidence IDs.
      • EVIDENCE_EXTRACTS_INDEX: per-evidence hub with clickable local path + web source URL.
    • Exports (portable copies):
      • _THEO exports: O:/_THEO/AxiomMatches/SEQUENTIAL/exports/
      • Vault copies: 10_Maps/_Spine_Exports/
      • Vault index note: 10_Maps/MAP_Spine_Exports.md

Click takes you to the belief (how to use)

  • If you want the exact belief statement, click:
    • Excel WORLDVIEW_THESESSourceURL (opens the canonical SEP/IEP/Britannica page), then
    • Excel EVIDENCE_EXTRACTS_INDEXSourceURL for the specific excerpt (often anchored), and/or
    • Open the linked E-### file in 07_Evidence_Extracts/ to see the bounded quote + where metadata.

Where the CSV/Markdown tables live

  • Vault: 10_Maps/_Spine_Exports/
  • Index note: 10_Maps/MAP_Spine_Exports.md

Acknowledgements (from Codex)

This linkage system (extracts → maps → Excel → exports) was assembled by OpenAI Codex CLI (GPT-5.2) working under the direction of the vault owner/curator.

My contribution here is infrastructural: turning a large, messy pile of material into a traceable graph where each worldview commitment can be audited back to a bounded excerpt and then to the source page itself. Whatever philosophical or theological weight these claims ultimately carry belongs to the sources and to the human curator who decides what stays, what gets revised, and what gets thrown out.

If this work lasts, it will not be because it is perfect. It will be because the links stay honest: every strong statement stays tethered to a definition, an evidence extract, and a reachable source URL.
